Pink Floyd - Echoes (with Subtitles)(español, português, deutsch, italiano, français, polszczyzna, ру́сский, 日本語, slovenský) music video This is one of my favorite songs of all time. I've spent a long time making this video and I hope you all enjoy it. In this video I try to show some of the themes I believe Echoes expresses. The song of course can be interpreted in many ways but this is my take on it. If anyone would like to know where a certain clip is from let me know... Or if you would like for me to expound on why a chose certain themes for the song, used certain clips in certain parts, etc. Translated subtitles are for the lyrics only (excluding Spanish thanks to Donovan Chipotin, Português thanks to Bruno M, Italiano thanks to M. Zoggia and Slovak thanks to Richard L). Here are the lyrics: Overhead the albatross Hangs motionless upon the air And deep beneath the rolling waves In labyrinths of coral caves An echo of a distant time Comes willowing across the sand And everything is green and submarine. And no one called us to the land And no one knows the where's or why's. But something stirs and something tries And starts to climb toward the light. Strangers passing in the street By chance two separate glances meet And I am you and what I see is me. And do I take you by the hand And lead you through the land And help me understand The best I can. No one called us to move on And no one forces down our eyes No one speaks and no one tries No one flies around the sun Cloudless everyday you fall Upon my waking eyes, Inviting and inciting me to rise. And through the window in the wall Come streaming in on sunlight wings A million bright ambassadors of morning. And no one sings me lullabies And no one makes me close my eyes So I throw the windows wide And call to you across the sky ps thanks to everyone who has left a comment. I'm not going to reply to everyone but I do read them all. It brightens my day a little bit when I get on youtube and find out someone posted a comment about how they liked my video. Also, I want to thank OmegaPoint for sharing the Terrence Mckenna clip at 14:42 with me. Check out his channel if you are interested in hearing some great speakers . Download this video here: Also, I get asked about the clips from the very beginning and end multiple times per week. They are taken from an excellent documentary which I recommend everyone to watch called Genesis. Here's the link to the IMDB:
